Hero of the anti-spam movement, Steve Linford is a man on a mission. His Spamhaus organisation identifies and tracks the worst bulk emailing offenders and works with ISPs to block their incessant traffic. Testimony as to how successful he's been comes from an unlikely source - the spammers themselves. So effective has he been that Linford is regularly on the receiving end of death threats from the bad guys. His message is clearly getting through - and as a result, theirs aren't.
